MADISON, WI (July 2026) – For 60 years, Park Bank has grown alongside the people of Madison and Dane County, serving neighbors, supporting local visions, and showing up where life happens. Since opening its doors on July 18, 1966, the bank has remained locally owned, relationship driven, and committed to making decisions that put people first.
What began as a community bank with less than $20 million in assets has grown to more than $1.5 billion, while remaining Madison’s only independent community bank.
“Reaching our 60th anniversary is an incredible milestone, but what makes it truly meaningful is the trust our clients, associates, and community have placed in Park Bank over the years,” said Ken Lammerfeld, Chief Executive Officer. “From the very beginning, our success has been built on relationships, local decision making, and a commitment to making Dane County a better place to live.” We are incredibly proud of our history and grateful to everyone who has been part of the journey.”
“The past 60 years have given us a strong foundation, and we’re excited about what comes next,” said Josh Marron, President and Chief Banking Officer. “While banking continues to evolve, our purpose remains the same: helping our clients, businesses, and communities get to what’s next. As Madison’s only independent community bank, we’ll continue investing in the people and places that make Dane County such an amazing place to live, work, and grow.”
Throughout 2026, Park Bank is celebrating its anniversary with two storytelling campaigns: 608 Then & Now and 608 Together.
608 Then & Now honors the people, businesses, and organizations that have shaped Dane County over the past six decades. 608 Together celebrates those who continue to strengthen our community today through service, innovation, and every day acts of kindness. Together, these campaigns connect past and present, reminding us that Dane County’s strength comes from people and organizations who show up year after year to serve, innovate, and support their neighbors.
